Onyx Projects is pleased to have provided sponsorship to the 2019 WA State Under 15 Badminton Teams (Main & Reserve) who will be competing in the Val Nesbitt Trophy (National Team Event) and the Australian U15 Championships. This year’s event will be held in Calamvale (Brisbane, Qld) from 29 September – 5 October 2019.
The teams have been working together for several months and will be led by two junior national players and coached by Nicholas Kidd, former Australian and England number one player, and they are aiming to break the dominance of NSW and Victorian teams.

Onyx Projects (OP) is pleased to announce that it has been engaged by Rio Tinto (RT) to undertake a review of the different Gravity Take-up (GTU) installations on all existing conveyors across RT’s operational iron ore sites in the Pilbara, with a view to developing standard arrangements for simplifying the procedure to isolate the GTU counterweights.
Onyx Projects is proud to announce that it has successfully delivered the detailed design of a second overhead crane installation inside an existing car dumper facility at Port Hedland. This marks the fourth successful project delivery of a similar nature.
The scope of work was completed by an experienced multi-discipline engineering and design team who were focussed on delivering a design solution that minimised the impact to port operations during installation.
Onyx Projects is proud to announce that it has been engaged by Fortescue Metals Group to provide detailed design and engineering personnel to form part of the Fortescue integrated project delivery team for ore processing and non-process infrastructure to support the Eliwana Development Project.

Onyx Projects (OP) recently achieved a significant milestone in support of BHP’s iron ore operations.
Since being appointed to the Engineering Services Panel in June 2015, OP has successfully completed more than 300 engineering projects and studies covering all of BHP Iron Ore’s operating sites in areas including:
