Onyx Projects (OP) is pleased to announce that it has been engaged by Rio Tinto (RT) to undertake a review of the different Gravity Take-up (GTU) installations on all existing conveyors across RT’s operational iron ore sites in the Pilbara, with a view to developing standard arrangements for simplifying the procedure to isolate the GTU counterweights.
The scope of work also includes the definition of the design changes required to modify the existing GTU’s to comply with the new standard arrangements.
